Completing the Aircraft Illustration - page 6
step15.jpg (8549 bytes) The result will work for all of the wing ribs from FBL 0.00 out to 142.00. Break Apart the two sections and create the cutout shapes approximately as shown. Combine everything except the rear control surface (gray). Apply a white fill, duplicate and set aside a set of objects. Marquee select both objects and convert them to an isometric side using your tools.
step16.jpg (11173 bytes) Find the node at the top center spar position (Position 3) and using Snap to Objects move it to the Right Fuselage Station 142.0 (Start of the right wing flat section) position. Dupe both objects and move them to the 0.00 position on the center spar. Select both trailing edge objects and apply a blend of 7. Separate, ungroup all and group everything together.
step17.jpg (10997 bytes) Dupe the right wing section and using the "back" top center node snap the whole shebang right over the rib at 0.00. Wow I’m impressed.
