Fill with white and use the Extrusion tool and apply an extrusion to each of the smaller ellipses with the following settings: Back parallel, x = 0.00 y=-0.375, VP locked to object and vanishing point relative to object center. The larger set gets an extrusion with a 0.18 depth. Separate and ungroup.
  1. Stack the sets as shown duping, aligning and adjusting the front to back order as shown and then group each set.
  2. Rotate the more open ellipse set -112 degrees.
  3. Rotate the thinner ellipse set -148 degrees.
  4. Ungroup and render each set and put off to the side.
The lever can be constructed from the following components:
Circle 0.75 inches in diameter.
Rectangle 0.5 inches wide by 1.50 inches high.
Completely rounded rectangle 0.5 inches wide by 1.50 inches high (Convert to curves, delete the extra nodes, add a node at the top).
Rounded rectangle 0.25 inches wide by 0.75 high with a corner radius of 65.
