Creating the Controls - page 4

Transforming Object 5

Duplicate the object and apply a horizontal mirror. Since these objects are rotated down (more open) you need to apply a modification of the standard formulas. Apply the following: Vertical stretch 90 percent. Horizontal skew 34 degrees, Rotate 30 degrees and fill with white.

Begin the extruding/rendering/assembling phase before we create the brake handles.

Object 1

Use the Extrude tool to apply an extrusion to the ellipse with the following settings:

Back Parallel, X = 0.000, Y = 0.375, VP Locked to Object, Vanishing point relative to object center. Separate and fill the cylinder as shown and rotate -6.0 degrees. Group (Ctrl+G), duplicate and set off to the left side to help build the left control.

Object 2

Use the Extrude tool to apply an extrusion to the ellipse with the following settings:

Back Parallel, X = 0.000, Y = 0.25, VP Locked to Object, Vanishing point relative to object center. Separate and fill the cylinder as shown and rotate -6.0 degrees. Assemble the right set. Assemble the left side control.
