Draw a 2 inch circle (F7+Ctrl). Now create a 1.25 inch square (F6+Ctrl) duplicate, position so the corners overlap and weld the squares together. Align (Ctrl+A) the new shape horizontally and vertically with the circle and then Intersect with the circle. Delete the original shapes. Fill the new object with white.
Convert this shape into a top view isometric by applying a "Vertical Scale of 57.4%.
