Drawing Isometric Hoses - page 7
Get the Contour Roll-Up (Ctrl+F9) and set the following: Offset 0.1, Steps 1. If your result is different it is due to scale. Adjust the size of your pipe or the offset dimension to correct the proportions.
Separate the Contour Group and delete the center line. Use the Node Edit Tool (F10) to delete the extra nodes one-at-a-time. Use the Node Edit Tool (F10) to select the end segments (one at a time) and change that segment to a curve using the Node Edit Roll-Up (Ctrl+F10). Once both ends have been changed marquee select the four end nodes and use the Node Edit Roll-Up to smooth them.
Get the hose end object you created earlier and manually move, size, and position the hole over the ends of your pipe until you achieve the proper result.
