Creating a technically correct version of this hose requires an isometric protractor and an understanding of plotting inside a sphere. Since neither of those concepts have been covered here yet we try to create a "fudged" version.
Get the curve you saved from the previous exercise. Now get the ellipse you saved and position it as shown on the top of the curve. Repeat for the bottom.
Do not do this step.
This is simply to show the results from applying a blend at this point. Obviously the blend must be on a curve. On the right is the result. Even if the front to back order were correct the result would be unacceptable.
