We will create the floor first. Choose the Rectangle tool and draw a 12’ wide by 8’ high object. Choose the bottom radius corners and apply a radius of 25. Using the Property Bar correct any dimensions that are off. |

Apply a Fountain fill as shown by the screen capture. The result should resemble the illustration. Note: I have chosen a fountain fill to save screen redraw and printing time. If you were producing a high quality illustration a Texture Fill would be more appropriate. |
