To render: Select the front face and choose a Uniform Fill (Shift+F11) of C20, M10. Complete the panel rendering by choosing the following lighting settings from the Extrude Roll-Up (Ctrl+E) Light 1 = front/right/top 100%, Light 2 = front/center/middle 30%.

Get the object saved in exercise 1 and delete the inner rectangle. Create a rectangle (F6) with these dimensions 0.75 wide by 0.118 high. Use the Node Edit Tool (F10) to completely round the corners. Convert to curves (Ctrl+Q), select the outside nodes and delete them. Position the curve as shown.
