Creating Isometric Sprockets & Chain Wheels - page 4
Sprocket 3 part 2.
Combine the cutout shapes (Ctrl+L) and activate the Shaping Docker. Apply a trim to the outside circle. Delete the cutout shapes combination and combine the outside shape and axel hole.
Sprocket 4 part 1.
Duplicate the axel hole and then shift click pick up and move the next circle and axel hole off to the side. Duplicate the cutout shape and snap the bottom of the cutout shape to the top of the large circle and super nudge it down once. Duplicate the cutout shape and snap the top to the bottom of the circle. Super nudge it up once. Shift click select the cutout shapes and combine them. There are 23 teeth on this sprocket, 360 degrees divided by 23 teeth equals 15.652 degrees. Since this is an odd number move the top nodes of the bottom cutout shape outside the circle with the Node Edit Tool.
Sprocket 4 part 2.
Activate the Transform Docker and switch to the rotation section and apply a rotation of 15.652 degrees to a duplicate 22 times. Combine the cutout shapes (Ctrl+L) and activate the Shaping Docker. Apply a trim to the outside circle. Delete the cutout shapes combination and combine the outside shape and axel hole.
