Our time is valuable and how we work can determine how productive each of us becomes. By carefully analyzing a drawing project you can plan the most efficient method for producing the illustration.

In order to draw efficiently you should to break an object into the simplest component parts. In this case there are base, body and hex objects that can be easily illustrated.
The Base.
Create a 2" square by selecting the Rectangle Tool and while holding down the constrain (Ctrl) key drag across the screen while watching the status line. If you are using CorelDRAW 7 or higher you can use the Property Bar to make minor corrections only. Use the Node Edit tool to apply a .25" radius to the corners of the square.
