Creating Basic Shapes - page 2 |
To create the
side: Select another square and use the Transform Menu to apply an "86.6% Horizontal Scale and then a 30.0 degree Vertical Skew." Turn on Snap to Objects and using the Pick Tool drag the side until it snaps into place. |
|
To create the
top: Select the remaining square and use the Transform Menu to apply an "86.6% Vertical Scale, a -30.0 degree Horizontal Skew, followed by a -30.0 degree Rotate." Note: This formula creates what I call a Top to Right effect for a Top to Left use: "86.6% Vertical Scale, a 30.0 degree Horizontal Skew, followed by a 30.0 degree Rotate." |
|
Now use the Pick Tool
drag the top until it snaps into place. The cube is now complete. |
