Drawing the Ultimate Cell Phone - page 7
Duplicate the button and it’s parts and group the result. Shift click select the outside shape and align (Ctrl+A) horizontally centered. Now use the Transform Roll-up to apply a position change of 0.65 inch horizontal to duplicate. Marquee select all three buttons and again use the Transform Roll-up to apply position changes to duplicates of vertical –0.45 three times. Marquee select all of the buttons and hit ungroup all. Modify the text of all the buttons to agree with the keypad on your phone.
The star key is made by creating a horizontal rectangle about .175" wide by .02" high. Since there are three of them (360 degrees divided by 3 = 120 degrees) rotate a duplicate 120 degrees twice. The pound key is the number key on your keyboard. Position these according to how your phone keypad looks.

Next duplicate the ear piece (1 ellipse and six holes) and drag it down near the bottom. Delete two of the holes to make a 2 by 2 grid, combine (Ctrl+L) and center horizontally and vertically using the align (Ctrl+A) command. Click off and select the outside ellipse and reduce it 80 percent horizontally and vertically using the Transform Roll-up.
