Using CAD Data to produce isometrics - page 9
Almost done! Delete all guide layers and use the Node Edit Tool (F10) to break - Break Apart - Delete all of the flow line segments that overlap parts. [See inset] Extend any flow lines as needed. Add the missing flow lines to the top plate gear train 1 and 3 bearing holes and align (Ctrl+A) horizontally.
Edit, select all, group (Ctrl+G) and use the Transform Roll-Up to apply a 120 degree rotation. Change the page setup orientation to landscape and use the Transform Roll-Up to apply a 85% horizontal and vertical scale. Finally align (Ctrl+A) to the center of the page.
With a little practice you can beat the CAD folks at their game, plus you can publish (print and export) to formats that make them crazy. I love it.
Look at what you just accomplished with 20 symbols. Imagine the possibilities if you owned our Deadly Dozen library and had over 2,200 symbols to choose from.
At $159.95 the Deadly Dozen library is one quarter the price of competing CAD libraries and is easier to use and much faster than inserting blocks.
