Trimming Objects - page 2
Draw a 2 inch square using the Rectangle Tool  and the constrain key (F6+Ctrl). Create another square that looks like the one top/left and move it as shown. Dupe it (Ctrl+D) and rotate 45 degrees using the Transform Roll-Up. Move that dupe into the lower/right position. Create a circle (F7+Ctrl) in the lower/left spot. Finally get a 6 pointed star from the Symbols Roll-Up - Shapes 1 - Break it apart (Ctrl+K) - delete one of the outlines with the Delete key. Now rotate the star, size and position it as shown.
Complete this step by using the trim tool to remove the overlapping sections from the original square. Delete the trim objects.
Now convert the shape to a top isometric view by using the Transform Roll-Up and applying: "Vertical Scale 86.6 percent, Horizontal Skew -30 degrees, Rotation -30 degrees". Finally apply a white fill.
